Where to Stay

Laguna Beach is a popular vacation destination, especially around Labor Day Weekend. We recommend booking lodging in advance. Below are some nearby options. There are also several more affordable spots inland, a 20-30 minute drive away. While Laguna is known for many luxury accommodations, easily found online, we attempted to list the most affordable options:

Ayres Hotel Laguna Woods

Visit site

The Ayres Hotel Laguna Woods - Aliso Viejo offers a complimentary, full, hot breakfast and buffet daily, free parking & wi-fi. EV charging stations are also available on-site.Reservations can be made by using our group link or by calling the hotel at 949-588-0131, extension 0 and mentioning the Andrews & Shor Wedding Room Block. Please reserve at your earliest convenience to confirm availability at our special rate

14 West

Visit site

3-minute walk to the venue, and typically one of Laguna’s most affordable hotels. We had a room block here, but they are changing ownership. We may try to establish another room block once the new ownership is confirmed. For now, these rooms are still reservable individually. Free cancellation up to two weeks before the reservation, in case we are able to make a block with the new ownership.

Short Term Rentals

Laguna does not allow short-term rentals, so only a few airbnb/VRBOs are grandfathered in. The neighboring towns that do provide short-term rentals are about a 20-minute drive away.

Cottages At Crystal Cove

Visit site

About a 10-15 minute drive from the venue. Available through CA State Parks via rolling reservation starting 6 months prior to the day of reservation. These are one of the most affordable options in Laguna aside from camping (camp sites also reservable at the site) but they will go quick!

Talent Show

Reminder: Strict 2-minute time limit, but pretty much anything goes.
Kids hour 5:30-6:30pm :)
Our generous and illustrious talent show coordinators are Rachel Ford and Isabel Levey-Swain. Feel free to contact Rachel at [email protected] and/or Isabel at [email protected] with questions about your acts.

Registry

The theme of this wedding is supporting community, and as such, we do not have any expectation of gifts. Your time, energy, and expense in traveling to be with us is more than enough of a gift! In lieu of presents, we ask that you contribute time or money to a local mutual aid organization. This could be a community garden, food pantry, shelter, ICE rapid response network, bail fund, or any kind of network of providing support to vulnerable neighbors. Mutual aid networks can be found at https://www.mutualaidhub.org/ or by researching mutual aid efforts in your community.
For those who would like to send a traditional wedding gift, Matt has made a registry of household goods we would be grateful to have. We love you and are grateful for you no matter what, so please don't feel like you need to get a gift, and please find all the ways you can to hold your community close!

Heath Ceramics

I (Matt) used to work here making tile! While we've got a bunch of mismatched pieces, I wasn't ever able to afford a real set. We know it's fancy, and we'd be grateful for any small contribution to that dream.

William Sonoma

The aspirational newly-wed registry! I figured this would be reasonable enough for Charlotte to allow me to use (still has that $15,000 Car Cooler I've been looking for) instead of Harrod's and Bergdorf Goodman that I wanted to use...
